An examination of the current trends within the beauty industry (and the
fact that the industry is currently valued at $532 billion), I was able to identify
many new opportunities for makeup brand Glossier. By incorporating new marketing strategies,
additional brick and mortar locations in cities with the highest demand and ROI, and creating
an app mockup with various features such as a beauty quiz and makeup camera using AI to determine a user's
"perfect shade", I was able to provide insights into how the comapny can expand
and draw in a larger audience.
When working with The Digilouge, I was tasked with coming up with an innovative way
part of my product ideas included creating an app mockup, to help The Digilogue offer premium education opportunities,
while also creating a social plaform for users to connect.
When working with Mindbody, I had the opportunity to create an accessible tool
which can be used to enhance the experience of web-builders, as well as clients using Mindbody's tools.
Throughout this project, I took care with ensuring the design held up to WCAG AA and AAA standards, along with giving
the client necessary informations surrounding why these guidelines are so vital.
During my work with Good Social, I designed a site mockup to create a more
inviting environment for users. Through this I invesitgated trends among
users, finding that creating an app geared towards users and a web platform
marketed towards both charitable organizations and volunteers,
creates the most cohesion and generates a larger user base.
When working with Realtor.com (RDC), I was presented with the task of generating a continuous growth rate of
users with claimed homes, working towards a goal from 100,000 claimed homes, to 1,000,000 claimed homes. To achieve this,
I develop an intuitive and informative home improvement estimator, only accessible to users who’ve claimed homes, that can help
users estimate the return on investment of their home improvement project before they invest the time and money into it.
During a collaborative project with Whirlpool, I was tasked with designing a system in which Whirlpool products both better
communicate with each other and use outside information for a better user experience. To achieve this, I worked on creating a
unified IoT relationship between a user’s phone, refrigerator, and oven.
Through a partnership project with Deloitte, I was able to envision a multi-faceted
platform called "Family Hub." This project focused on ensuring a cohesive environemnt for the
everyday family through providing families various products to ease the daily family experience.
These tutorials were used to service the clinic and help interns build skills using various
Adobe tools, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and XD. These tutorials have also been used to teach
students in grakes K-8 how to use such tools during the clinics volunteer workshops.
This was an illustration created for a local non-profit organization in Bloomington, IN through Serve IT to
better address the mission of BTCC (Building a Thiving Compassionate Community) Bloomington.
Through this app mockup, I was able to create an environment in which
users can find the support they need when dealing with mental health struggles, something that is
often overlooked in our society.
I specifically chose my target demographic of teens and young adults, because having close friends and family members who stuggle with
their mental health made me realize how important it is to discuss mental health issues, as soon as they arise.
When you see people who truly could benefit from having quick access to healthcare, especially in a time where costs are rising and
people may not have mental health coverage on their insurance, it makes you reevaluate what the market genuinely needs in
order to help improve the lives of others, rather than adding even more personal insecurities that often result from a constant
stream of social media inundating the lives of nearly every person.
